I’m Kolt, a Reiki Master Instructor,
Sound Healing Practitioner, and Spirit Coach

I am a certified Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Instructor by the NYC Reiki Institute, a certified Sound healer by the International to Academy of Sound Healing (IASH), a poet, and an essayist. I work full-time in my wellness studio in the Northwest Hills region of Connecticut, accepting one-on-one and group healing sessions as well as teaching Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki workshops with certification.

Prior to receiving the call, I worked in New York City’s publishing industry for more than twenty years. In 2016, I felt a deep shift to move inward and a growing urgency to do more in the world, to be of service to the planet and all its inhabitants. Thus began my journey in alternative and holistic health services with Isha Hatha yoga, IASH Sound healing, and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. In 2019, I was initiated in Isha Hatha yoga practices by Sadhguru through the NYC chapter. In 2021, I enrolled in various Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki classes with NYC Reiki Institute and Sound healing workshops with IASH. From 2022 to 2024, I accepted the role as the IASH NY Chapter Coordinator and worked closely with Maestro Satya Brat, apprenticing and coordinating NYC IASH Sound healing workshops and events, as well as hosted NYC IASH Sound Satsangs and Student Meetups. On April 7, 2023, I was initiated as a Reiki Master Instructor by Nana C. Deleplanque at NYC Reiki Institute.

I earned my BA from the University of Minnesota and my MFA from Columbia University’s School of the Arts. I live in Torrington, Connecticut.
